Cruises prices are based on double occupancy in a private cabin with en suite bath. A single traveler pays the full cost of a tour with their own private cabin.
Alternatively, solo travelers of the same sex can share a cabin if they wish. Note that the double cabins have a double bed on bottom and a single berth on top. Roommates can switch on and off between the double and the single.
Cruises with or without set dates. Contact us by phone or email and we’ll let you know if a cabin is available and if enough people have signed up for the trip. Minimum ten persons for a cruise to be a “go.” No need to put down a deposit unless we tell you the cruise is a go.
If you are an already assembled group and want to charter a yacht for a private cruise, contact us by email or phone specifying your desired dates and we will inform you how to proceed to book your cruise. Our yachts hold 6-18 guests for Multi-Day Cruises and 12- 49 passengers for Day Sails.
Children 12 years and older are only allowed on dedicated family cruises and Day Sails
Children must be accompanied by their parents or an adult. The activities on a dedicated family cruise are kid friendly. Meals are made to their liking due to consultations with parents in advance about the menus.
Yes, hot water is available at all times.
Although our yachts are spacious, ship cabins are still smaller than hotel rooms. Best to pack clothes in a foldable duffle bag that can be stored in the cabin’s half-closet. Otherwise luggage can be placed on the single berth above your double bed.
The truth is, you don’t need a grand wardrobe for a casual sailing trip, so there is no need to lug a huge suitcase. If you are staying longer in Greece before or after the cruise, we can store your bigger luggage at our Athens warehouse.
Prior to departure you will receive tips on what to wear or gear to bring based on the date and type of tour you book.
On Multi-Day Cruises, beach towels are given to passengers.
Air conditioning is available on most of our yachts during the night to ensure a comfortable sleep for our passengers but it is not necessary during the day time when the alfresco prevails.
Cabin linens are changed every two days.
The yacht and all its guests cannot wait for you if you are not present when the boat is scheduled to depart from a port. It is up to you to arrange your travel to the next destination at your expense. With the islands, there are ferries to make this possible.
To book a cruise you must make a 30% deposit per person of the cruise cost six months prior to departure, another 30% payment 90 days prior to departure and full balance due 30 days prior to departure.
For bookings made within six months prior to departure a 50% deposit per person is required and the balance 30 days prior to departure.
We send you a booking form to fill out with your credit card details which you return by email attachment. We charge your credit card via PayPal or through our credit card merchant’s account. Alternatively, we can take your credit card information by phone.
Charges to your credit card are made in euros, unless you are from the U.S., in which case the euro cost of the tour is converted to U.S. dollars and your credit card is charged in U.S. dollars at an exchange rate in effect on the day the card is charged (see www.xe.com).
Alternatively, you may make a wire transfer payment to our New York or Greece Bank in which case we will send you our banking details. The cost of a wire transfer (even an international wire transfer) is usually less expense than a credit card transaction fee.

For multi-day private charters, the standard charter APA system prevails. APA which stands for “Advance Provisioning Allowance.” APA refers to expenses beyond the base charter cost, usually about 30% of the cruise cost, which includes extras, such as, additional diesel, meals and an on board chef.
The APA is paid up front and from this fund, expenses are made by the captain. If the guests exhaust the fund, they need to replenish it based on their anticipated needs and desires. For example, if guests wish to eat lobsters and drink champagne each night, the fund will need replenished quicker than if guests eat traditional Greek cuisine. If the guests wish to deviate from the itinerary and go to a more distant island, the APA will need to be replenished for the extra diesel costs.
The APA system allows the chef to work with your group to satisfy your daily eating preferences. Once menus are established, the chef purchases the food supplies and prepares the meals. Guests do not have the option to prepare their own meals on board.
Each yacht has a fully equipped galley to enable your party to be well-fed throughout the cruise. Meals are served al fresco on deck and/or the salon.
